My Story

Hello, and welcome! My name is Dani Sven, just your local hippie, artist, and musician. I am about a year and a half into this crazy journey and I'm grateful to be on it with you. 

At a young age, before I could even talk, music spoke to me. You could catch me standing on the living room coffee table, rocking to my parents’ CD’s - Aerosmith, Van Halen, The Eagles, all genres really.  I’m not sure if my parents even knew what they were getting into; my great grandmother described me as a “vivacious young being.” And my guitar is named "Loretta" after that wonderful woman! My love for music and art has only grown the older I've gotten, and now, to be on the path, of making a living doing what I love, is really a privelage.

 I was in school band and jazz band where I played alto, tenor and baritone saxophone. Years later I started to teach myself the guitar in search of an instrument that I could also tie in with my love for singing. After graduating from Pinkerton Academy, there was a period of time where I fought with myself in choosing between what most would call, a “traditional career path” versus following my passion for entrepreneurship, and, school never appealed to me much. (to each their own.) In 2021, I got serious about my passion for music and initiated “Get Gig Ready” coaching with local music and performing legend, Chad LaMarsh. Through these sessions, my artistry grew quickly and immensely, which will now forever be the goal, never stop growing and expanding! My first gig was New Year’s Eve 2021, and about six months later I began my own solo gigs at local restaurants as my full-time job! I also had the opportunity to join the Chad LaMarsh Band as the lead vocalist. Having the opportunity to work alongside these unbelievably talented musicians has been an incredible opportunity.

Creating in general is extremely important to me; in addition to music, I also create handmade art pieces (paintings, woodburning, crocheting, etc.) which will soon be featured on this website!

I am so grateful to be able to express myself in such an authentic & vulnerable way, and I have absolutely adored connecting with new people constantly through it all. Co-creation is what it’s all about, and music and art is a powerful way to bring people together! That “little girl dancing on the coffee table's” dreams have started to manifest! Thanks for all your support and for joining in on this crazy, creative journey with me.
